At the Seychelles you will find good weather all the year around. The climate is tropical, but is always pleasant thanks to a constant sea breeze, with average temperatures of the order of 25 and 30 degrees centigrade (77 to 86 F°).
The Seychelles are outside the cyclone zone and the rainstorms are therefore few and far between.
There are two principal seasons dominated by trade winds that blow in opposite directions: the period from October to April, touched by the wind of the north west is warmer, with more rainfall but of short duration and the sea is generally calm. From May to September temperatures are slightly lower and drier climate due to the winds of the south east.
The periods of calm between the trade winds in April / May and October / November, have a warmer climate without winds and the sea is calm and clear.
The best time to go depends on what you want to do.
The table below summarizes the statistical average of the rainfall recorded at the International Airport of Mahé.
